Grievance and Appeals Procedures
If you are enrolled in one of Appalachian State University's online programs and have a complaint, you are encouraged to and must exhaust all avenues of complaint internal to the institution before the complaint can be filed at the state or accrediting agency level. If you need assistance, please contact the Distance Education Program Manager assigned to your preferred program (Undergraduate Programs, Graduate Programs).
In the event that a complaint cannot be resolved at the University level please visit the Registrar's Grievance and Appeal Procedures webpage for information on how to proceed.
Distance Education Student Advisory Committee
This Advisory Committee offers a leadership and professional development opportunity for students. Committee members are responsible for exploring and reporting on issues related to Distance Education at Appalachian State, collaborating with each other on projects, and leading discussions on assigned topics.
